Our Day Will Come Part 3 is the thirty-fourth chapter of the Black Lagoon spinoff series Eda Initial Stage. It was originally released on January 18, 2025.

On the way to search for the location of the missing Stinger missiles, Eda asks Emily Thompson if the London police already informed the military of the Advanced IRA's terrorist plot. Confirming, the latter adds that the police are mobilized, saying that the terrorists must be within a four-kilometer radius of the air base since the Stinger missiles' range is that distance. Emily also explains that it will still be difficult to find the extremists despite the police and military mobilization, mentioning that the air base has halted all takeoffs and landings. Eda tells her not to worry since she already knows where the terrorists are, recalling that the car bomber told her earlier. Shocked at the revelation, Emily angrily asks why she kept that from them since they could have sent the police to the location earlier. Eda answers that she has her own reasons for doing so, though she says she does want to stop the bombing.

Jerry Smith asks where it is, prompting the CIA agent to answer that the Advanced IRA extremists are in a settlement a few kilometers south of the base. Scoffing, Emily doubts she is telling the truth, but Eda reasons that the man wanted them to be lured to the hideout, confusing the former. Eda merely concludes that she will find out soon enough who the men are and what they want. Meanwhile, at the hideout south of the base, an elderly extremist begins to set up the Stinger missile launcher, asking Michael Connolly if they only have two missiles and need to only use one. Looking out the window, Michael responds that they will need to exfiltrate the area as soon as possible after they shoot down one plane. He assesses that the air base would not let a second plane be easily destroyed after one is shot down, so they have to leave quickly or else be found and captured. Michael orders the man to get into position and notices Cillian McGrath loading his firearms. Noting that he is heavily armed, the leader admits he is proud of Cillian, saying he is a different man from his dead self when he returned from the United States. Practicing his aim, Cillian smugly asks if he really thinks he changed.

Driving into a neighborhood, Jerry asks Eda if they are close to the destination. Hearing her confirmation, Emily notes that the number of houses should narrow down their search field. Eda spots the house and points out that it is most likely the place given that it faces the base, their window is open, and an unusual minivan is parked in the driveway. Though the CIA agent orders Emily to run the minivan's license plate, Jerry professes that it is unnecessary since he recognizes the area code being Liverpool. Agreeing that is suspicious enough, Eda suggests that they pull around the street corner and split into two groups. Inside the house, one man tells Michael that a police car appears to be nearby because the car passed the house twice at low speed, adding that the passengers look familiar. He says his guess could be wrong, to which Michael remarks that such optimism would be fatal.

Accordingly, Michael orders everyone to prepare for battling the cops. Skeptical, his elderly associate asks if they will use the Stinger missile, to which the Advanced IRA leader replies that they are only up against cars and people and therefore should not waste their hard-earned equipment. Thinking to himself, Michael recalls that Morton, their diversion, was captured. Knowing that he was not informed of the location of their hideout, Michael wonders if there is an insider among them given the police's unusually fast and successful search. As he continues to ponder, the tired Cillian remembers how he told Morton to tip off the police about the location. Though Morton was worried, he clarified that it would be a clandestine trap for the police. Thinking about his dog, Cillian mutters that he hopes Quinn will be well and make Ms. Abbott's daughter love him, then holding up his weapon and being certain he will fight.

Outside the house, Eda sneaks behind the fence while Jerry and Emily walk to the front door. Jerry knocks but receives no response, so Emily grasps onto the doorknob. Immediately, the Advanced IRA extremists shoot a barrage of bullets through the door, forcing the officers to take cover. At the same time, Eda sneaks into the back door and turns around the staircase corner when she and Cillian see each other. The latter shoots at her, forcing her to take cover as he urges Michael to escape through the window. When Eda shoots back, Cillian lays on his stomach and jokes that the stage has been set. Michael jumps out the window and onto the ground, being spotted by the two officers as he begins fleeing. Jerry adamantly orders Emily to pursue him despite her hesitancy so that the AIRA leader does not escape. Beginning to tail him, both Emily and Michael exchange gunfire with one another, with the former yelling that she will not let him escape.

In the house, the panting Eda assesses that she can question Cillian about the Stinger knowing that he led the arms trafficking in the United States. Waiting for an opportunity to attack, she decides to leave the remaining Advanced IRA extremists to the two officers. At that moment, to Eda and Cillian's shock, the elderly extremist points his Stinger at Eda and declares that they will not go down without using the missile that took so much work to acquire. Eda jumps to the ground as the man fires the missile, but to their surprise, the Stinger missile turns out to be a dud and merely falls down the stairs onto the ground without exploding or deploying its flight rotor. Improvising, the extremist pulls out a grenade, but Eda shoots him a second later before he can throw it, instantly killing him. Running down the stairs from the live grenade, Cillian jumps over the stair railing and reloads his rifle, dodging Eda's shot. Elsewhere in the neighborhood, Emily is forced to take cover behind a tree as Michael fires at her. Remembering her slain comrades Mabel and Sadie, she angrily shoots back, whereas he curses the "Black and Tan girl."

He attempts to shoot again but is taken by surprise that he is out of bullets, making him panic. Before he can reload, Emily shoots him once in the chest, knocking him down. Glaring at Michael, Emily tells him that two years ago, one of his bombings killed two of her best friends from the police academy. Not regretful, Michael proclaims that he will send her to her friends in the afterlife and lifts his pistol. Acting fast, Emily's left cheek is grazed by a bullet but she shoots him once in the head and kills him, retorting that he is the only one who will go to hell. As he turns around, Cillian's rifle barrel gets stuck between two stair balusters when Eda kicks it downward, mocking him for using his large gun in such a small place. She pins him against the wall at gunpoint and rhetorically asks if he deliberately told the Advanced IRA car bomber where he was. Smirking, Cillian jokes that he is surprised that it is the first thing she asks. Joking back that he is right, Eda demands to know where he got the Stinger from, but he only answers that such a question will do her no good. Asserting she is the one doing the questioning, she threatens to shoot him full of bullets if he does not talk. Holding onto her pistol and pulling the barrel to his forehead, Cillian grins and encourages her to kill him, taunting her for not following through on her threat.

He laughs and orders her to do it quickly, attempting to pull the trigger. Taken off guard, she points the pistol away as the shot misses him, allowing Cillian to grab her neck. He tries pushing her downward, but Eda pushes her foot against him and flips him over her using his weight. Eda frantically crawls for her pistol as Cillian tries pulling his own pistol from his coat. As they aim at each other, they both shoot at the same time. Elsewhere in the house, the exhausted Jerry rests against a wall after having killed the remaining terrorists. Returning to him, Emily confirms that she ended Michael's life, making the two agree that their fight is over. Near the stairs, Cillian, having been shot in the abdomen, admits he underestimated Eda for intentionally missing his head. Frustrated, she yells that she would have gladly killed him if she did not have orders to follow, ordering him to fess up so that she can finally go to the Padres game.

When she is confused at his claim that he still has the advantage, Cillian elaborates that he has seen many of his comrades slain in the dozen or so years he has been fighting. He professes that his peers became younger as time passed, mentioning that all of their deaths haunt him. Annoyed even more, Eda retorts that she did not come to the United Kingdom to hear his whining. Cillian reminds her that she came to get information from him, rhetorically stating that he wins if she cannot get it out of him. Suddenly, he deploys a sleeve gun on his right arm and points the pistol under his jaw. Smirking again, he asserts that he and his comrades will win in the present and the future, promising to see her in hell before he kills himself. Hearing the gunshot, Jerry and Emily rush to the room and see Cillian's corpse. The disgusted Eda derides the mission as a waste of time and jokes that it was polite of him to "get off the stage on his own." Tired, the CIA agent claims that they are about to commence the second act.
