Eda Initial Stage history

Our Day Will Come

The Advanced IRA planned to use Stinger missiles to attack a British air base, so Michael Connolly arranged for Morton to divert the London police by detonating a car bomb outside the New Scotland Yard building. Unknown to Michael however is that his second-in-command, Cillian McGrath, discreetly asked the young man to tip off the police of their hideout and attack plan if he were to be captured. Having not been informed of the senior AIRA members' location, Morton was worried about the plan. He decided to follow through with the task since Cillian clarified that it would be a clandestine trap for the police.

Not long after, Morton went to the New Scotland Yard building as Eda, Emily Thompson and Jerry Smith were exiting the headquarters. As he exited the car, he was shocked to see Eda and the two police officers, so he quickly detonated the bomb. Using the distraction, Morton tried running away, but Eda quickly shot him in his knee, immobilizing him. The CIA agent ran up to the terrorist and pushed her shoe's heel into his wound to exacerbate the pain. Eda demanded to know the time and location of the AIRA's next attack, but Morton merely smirked at her. In response, she twisted her heel into his foot again, making him scream. Nonetheless, Morton immediately told her about the AIRA's plan to attack a British air base with the trafficked Stinger missiles, as well as the details concerning their point of attack and approximate time. Although Eda called him a blabbermouth, she did not know that Morton confessed due to the new plan rather than out of fear, and he was taken into police custody.
