IRISHMAN in N.Y. Part 2 is the thirty-sixth chapter of the Black Lagoon spinoff series Eda Initial Stage. It was originally released on March 19, 2025.

As Eda drives to the site of the arms deal with her law enforcement colleagues following suit, Kilner tells Latimer that they will get to the former factory site at a later time, adding that they cannot let the enemy get the upper hand. Latimer rhetorically asks if the CIA is really running the operation despite the FBI being officially in charge, deriding it as unexciting. Disagreeing with the notion, Kilner replies that the means do not matter since their goal is to solve the case. Being asked if he is indeed a replacement for one of the officers, Latimer confirms and explains that his partner was injured during the investigation. The rookie officer admits he never expected the mission to turn into such a large operation, to which Kilner remarks it is a good opportunity for him to receive an improved evaluation by doing a good job. Agreeing, the dejected Latimer clarifies that he would like to regain his colleagues' trust at the police station. He states that he is useless at the station and laments that his coworkers think of him as expendable.

On the way to the site, as Eda passes an intersection, a semi-truck passes behind her and stops in the middle of the intersection, cutting off her route from the law enforcement officers. The passenger in the truck disembarks and immediately runs from the scene, startling Latimer. Kilner encourages him to chase down the man while he chases after Eda, so he hesitantly agrees. As Eda wonders what the truck was doing, she is rear-ended by a pursuing van, damaging her car's power as it barges through a chain fence. Crashing onto the factory field property, the dazed CIA agent exits the car as three masked gunmen appear and order her to drop her weapons and surrender. Eda begins shooting at them, so the gunmen shoot back while one criminal tells everyone to capture her alive. Having lost track of the fleeing truck passenger, Latimer hurries to the arms deal site to aid Eda. Continuing to defend herself, Eda angrily wonders what is keeping the FBI escorts occupied.

Taking cover behind a dumpster, she believes that Dent was right about a mole being on their team because the men began attacking her before she even reached the deal site. Eda then remembers that the gunmen shouted something about needing her alive, so she asks herself if she should let herself be captured and stay quiet. At that moment, she is stun-gunned in the neck from behind and knocked unconscious. Revealing himself to be the insider, Kilner looks over Eda and mutters that she made a wrong move. The gunmen come closer as the FBI agent identifies himself to the men and orders them to tie her up and put her in the car, warning them that the city police will soon converge onto the scene. The men begin to carry the CIA agent while Kilner demands that they remove and dispose of the several transmitters on her clothing. Nearby, staying out of sight and having witnessed the attack, Latimer begins to panic as he has just discovered Kilner's betrayal.

In a short period, the police and FBI agents reconvene. Kilner falsely answers to Dent that they were attacked, most likely by the arms traffickers. Telling himself that he was right about there being an insider among the team, the ATF agent asks where Eda is. Kilner reveals she was abducted, surprising Dent, who inquires if he at least saw the enemy's car. Confirming he did, Dent orders him to plan for departure, which Kilner adds he already did. Latimer arrives at the scene and becomes nervous upon seeing Kilner, who notices him in the corner of his vision. Turning around slowly, Latimer walks away and averts his face from the traitorous FBI agent. Quickly stopping in a low-profile area, the masked gunmen park their van and open the backdoor to find the transmitters on Eda's clothing, shocking her. As Eda struggles and insults them for their supposed perverted behavior, the men take off her jacket believing that one transmitter is in the jacket lining, with one man mentioning that the main transmitter they were warned about is one in her shoe. Examining one of her shoes, the leader tears off the heel and discovers the transmitter. Chastising Eda for thinking they would be fooled, he yells at the other gunmen to get ready for leaving because they cannot linger anymore. Wondering if the transmitter will still save her, Eda also wonders who it was that stun-gunned her.

Elsewhere, in a bathroom, Latimer expresses frustration and laments that his backup job has greatly escalated. The rookie officer wonders how and to whom he can report the incident, but he reminds himself that talking to the FBI would be useless given Kilner's affiliation. At that point, Dent suddenly enters the bathroom and casually greets him, scaring Latimer. Dent professes he is surprised a CIA agent of all people was captured, but he notices Latimer's abnormal demeanor and asks what is wrong. At that moment, Kilner himself enters the restroom, causing the nervous Latimer to deny he is feeling uneasy. Thinking the rookie officer is weird, Dent finishes up and tells him and the FBI agent not to be late since the briefing is about to start. Meanwhile, at the attackers' hideout, the tied-up Eda is met by two of the gunmen, whom she concludes to be the weapon smugglers. Glaring at her, the leader asks her to spill whatever information she knows about them. While one criminal keeps guard, Eda calmly mentions that she heard about an insider among the city police being involved, grabbing the man's attention. She confesses the motivation is easy to see due to the fact the insider has been helping smuggle arms to the IRA of all groups.

Thinking it is either for money or a cause, Eda characterizes the trafficking as an operation of low-level grunts, angering the leader. She jokes that even if the traffickers initially believed in a noble cause, their greed probably kicked in as a result of the cause only allowing them to live on pittances. Grabbing and punching Eda, the interrogator yells at her to shut up and claims she is arrogant. He rhetorically reminds her that the CIA acquired the Stinger missiles and sold them to the IRA for money in the first place. Laughing at the claim, Eda jokes that he should stop spreading lies because the CIA is not that shameless. Smirking, the interrogator chastises her for being naïve and says she will be disappointed to learn that the CIA has plenty of rotten apples employed. Confused, she asks him whom he truly believes is involved. Before he can say anything, one of the subordinates pushes him aside and tells him to shut up, stating that Eda is attempting to act clueless to goad them into saying names. As Eda jokes that she was so close, the gunmen realize she is a hardened case officer and not a mere lapdog, and they propose they should just finish her off to prevent underestimating her.

Though the leader suggests keeping her alive to attain more info, his partner posits that the CIA probably sent the woman to clean up their mess and that she may not even care about them or the arms smuggling. As Eda discerns that the men know a lot, the man repeats to the interrogator that they need to kill her quickly and prevent any discovery and remove any trace of her body. Knowing that her situation is not looking good, Eda wonders if Dent and the others will make it in time. At One Police Plaza, the NYPD's headquarters, Dent recalls to the officers that Eda was abducted en route to the negotiation site. Hearing him guess that their info was most likely leaked, Haddock is in disbelief that there is a mole among them. Advising the cop to put his anger aside for the time being, Dent emphasizes that their top priority is to rescue Eda despite her transmitters being destroyed. However, he discloses that one transmitter remains, intriguing Cripps but discreetly surprising Kilner. The ATF agent elaborates that they secretly installed another transmitter on her separate from the ones she was aware of, and the transmitter seems to be intact.

Finishing the briefing, Dent points out that the hideout will be where the transmitter has stopped moving, telling everyone to get their gear ready in preparation for the location being pinpointed. Accordingly, Lawson, Gunther, Shannon and the other officers head out. Kilner talks to Latimer as he exits the meeting room and asks if he is sure in his statement that he has "nothing to report" about him, to which the latter nervously agrees. The FBI agent accepts his answer and walks with him, divulging that he received help from his station chief on a case before, assuring Latimer that he can put in a good word for him. At the same time, a dispatcher relays to the officers that Eda's tracker has stopped moving, prompting Dent and Hanes to depart as they declare they will rescue the CIA agent.
