El réquiem de los Desalmados Part 5, also called Chapter 121, is the one hundred twenty-second chapter of the Black Lagoon manga. It was originally released on November 19, 2025.

At the Lovelace family manor, Fabiola Iglesias admits that although she objects to the meeting, she will permit Rock and Le Majeur to speak with Garcia Lovelace since Roberta, as the head maid, approved it. Smirking, Majeur teases Fabiola about her calm demeanor despite what she heard about her being quite the hotheaded fighter. Before the tension escalates, Rock advises them to stay focused, which Fabiola accepts. Opening his office door, Fabiola introduces the two criminals to Garcia. Meanwhile in Roanapur at the Lagoon Company office, Benny tells a client over the phone that the Lagoon Company cannot handle any big shipments for a while. As he ends the call, Dutch asks if it was a transport request. Benny confirms and mentions that logistics are held up due to the Hong Kong Triad sealing off all the major roads. He adds that their business is good as a result but confesses his worry about the upcoming fighting. Dutch asks Revy what Rock is doing outside of Roanapur, but the pirate answers that she has no idea because she is "not his babysitter." Sighing, he assesses that danger is increasing, observing that he has constantly seen armed vehicles of unknown crews traversing the city's major roads.

Back in Venezuela, Garcia professes that Fabiola has already briefed him on the situation. Looking at the files on his desk, the child asks Rock if his proposal truly is to have his family company, Hermosa Verde, to place a bid on a silver mine in Mexico. Rock responds that the governor of Sonora, who knew Garcia's father well too, has been concerned about the state of the mining industry ever since NAFTA went into effect. The ex-salaryman clarifies that he gained the governor's assurance that if Hermosa Verde places a genuine bid, he will provide his full support. Believing that his plan will overall revitalize Cananea's economy, Rock points out that the mine's rate of return is quite high and will allow the miners to gain an annual salary that exceeds what the Canadian mining company proposed. Having questions, Garcia wonders what Rock thinks about Los Eses' presence given they are more so a drug cartel than a vigilante group, emphasizing that Hermosa Verde seeks a healthy relationship with Cananea's residents.

Rock states that Gris el Tigres merely wants peace for the city, predicting that the drug business will fade if Cananea can sustain itself with the silver mine. However, the boy says he heard about Gris waging a war against the Russians in Roanapur, finding it hard to believe that peace in Cananea is all the mafia head wants. Commenting on the matter, Majeur claims that the bandito code will be nullified if the mine is developed and stymies their banditry. Still distrusting of the two visitors, Fabiola professes that the meeting is a waste of time because they are ultimately criminals. Nonetheless acknowledging that there is truth in what she said, Garcia interrupts and replies that Rock seems to have a certain level of ethics and a sincere plan, even though it is merely good scheming. The boy reasons that Roberta above all tolerated his visit in the first place and therefore trusts Rock once again to move forward with the proposal. Accepting his help, Rock affirms he will visit Cananea again next week and stay in touch in the meantime.

Elsewhere, at his office, Mister Chang receives a call from Biu, who informs him that the situation does not look good, stating that the enemy was gone by the time he arrived at the eleventh location attacked. Worried about Los Eses hitting the Triad on the getaway routes, the subordinate questions if Los Eses is outside Roanapur. Thinking it is likely, Biu recommends that they prepare for the worst in order to strike back. Chang iterates that they have already sealed off major roads and set up checkpoints, though Biu claims that setting up any more checkpoints will shut down the whole city considering that Roanapur runs on its nightlife. Accepting his advice, Chang orders him to have all informants in the city sell their info to the Triad to counter the likelihood of Gris having already paid off informants to prevent information leaks. Ending the call, the Triad boss mutters that he should probably take out some insurance.

At that point, a Nuevo Laredo Cartel member at the cartel's front company Alejandro & Gadaros Entertainment Agency answers a phone call from Chang, who asks to speak with Lobos. Responding that he has no updates on Gris's men, Lobos claims they are operating under a different chain of command from his office, repeating he has absolutely no idea what they are doing. He acknowledges he has responsibility to stop him as a member of the Council, but Chang admits he is curious as to his resolution to stop the mess given they are at a point of no return. The cartel capo elaborates that Jefe Guerrera does not understand how things function in Roanapur but can be convinced that Gris's way will not work, adding he was in the city during the 1994 chaos. Characterizing Los Eses as nothing more than a weapon for his country, Lobos says they are a peripheral group that the Nuevo Laredo Cartel can cut ties with. Hearing that Lobos's boss can weigh the pros and cons, Chang assures him that he can provide him with a few safehouses if he feels that Gris is aware the larger cartel will betray him.

Turning down the offer, Lobos reasons he has his pride at stake, to which Chang remarks that all negotiations will end if he is taken out. The Triad boss ends the call by advising him to run if he senses any danger since the Council will protect him. Lobos's subordinate informs him he received a strong tip on the cartel's hideout from one of their contacts. Ordering his men not to mobilize yet, Lobos explains that he needs to see his boss first and will leave for Mexico as soon as he can book a ticket. As he prepares to tell them what they need to do while he is gone, soldiers of Los Eses crash through the windows and gun some of the men down, starting a firefight. During the shooting, Lobos's men cover his escape and agree to take him to the Hot River Film Company office for safety. Before they can make a getaway, a young boy uses a dog whistle to set several dogs upon them, with a couple of them latching onto Lobos. At that moment, the soldiers' commander commends his men for their work and suggests killing any survivors to send a message. Outside, Lobos hears his men being slaughtered as the dogs bite his shoulders. Pulling up to the scene in his car, Gris grins and tells Lobos to take a ride with him.
