History

Roberta's Blood Trail

In Revy's childhood, her father was one of several people who abused her and left her with terrible memories. On one occasion, he called his teenage daughter a "whore" and hit her in the face with a bottle of alcohol.[1] One day, after Revy was brutally beaten up by an NYPD officer for a crime she did not commit[2] and then raped, she went back to her home armed with a revolver. There, her drunk father heard her while he was laying on the couch, so he ordered "Becky" to retrieve a drink for him. Completely ignoring his order, she immediately put a pillow over his face and shot him in the head, shouting at him to "go to hell!"[1] At that point, she looked over her father's dead body.[3]
