At Shenhua's_apartment">her apartment, Shenhua frantically asks Frederica Sawyer, who is playing a video game, if she has seen Lotton anywhere. Sawyer shakes her head, prompting Shenhua to clarify that a bounty was put out on Lotton due to a case of mistaken identity. Though the bounty was quickly rescinded, the retraction has apparently not reached all of the bounty hunters in Roanapur. Elsewhere in town, Lotton sits at a table at an outdoor dining place, unaware that he is being watched by the curious Lisa and Louise. Playing with a hawkbill knife, Louise suggests to Lisa that they quickly kill anyone trying to assassinate the freelancer, lest they be sent back to help with corpse cleanup. Behind Lotton, a man points a gun at his head, ordering him to come with and mentioning that he will get a bonus if he captures him alive. Unfazed, Lotton says he does not know what he wants, declaring that he will not answer to a man without a title. He stands up and tells the angered gunman that he will take him up on his invitation to dance, prompting the man to fire.

However, the gunman is immediately slain by Louise, who threw one of her knives at his jugular. The young girl remarks that they cannot take any risks for their job. To Louise's confusion, Lisa suddenly charges Lotton and pushes him to the ground. Instinctively reacting, Louise throws another knife at a different gunman who attempted to shoot Lotton. Narrowly dodging a bullet, the girl chastises Lisa for not coming to her aid, but she turns around to see a blushing Lisa sitting on top of Lotton. Thanking the girl, the freelancer earnestly asks if she is a heavenly messenger, making her blush again. Seeing more gunmen, the frustrated Louise shoots at them and tells Lisa to run away instead of freezing up. The three quickly hide behind a building corner, and Louise comments that she was told not to use a gun but admits she likes it for shooting their enemies like targets. Lotton tries to speak up, prompting the girls to clarify that they are merely running an errand and they are taken care of so long as they do not fail their errands. As Lotton thinks about their claim, a car swerves in front of them to block their path.

To the children's surprise, Lotton runs toward the car and stands on top of its roof. Announcing to the men that he will not hide, he states he will let them come at him if they promise not to interrupt the girls' errands. Furious, the men order him to get off of their car. In contrast, Lisa and Louise laugh hard and quickly come to Lotton's aid, shooting and cutting most of the men. Lotton continues to stand still on the car while all of the enemies' bullets miss him. As one gunman jumps out of the car, Lotton extends his arms out and asks the "avengers of the heavens" to give him the strength to put an end to the madness. A second later, he is suddenly shot in the chest and falls back, shocking the girls. Louise kills the remaining gunman while Lisa checks on Lotton, who gets up immediately and shows his bulletproof vest, explaining that his armor is useful to have in dangerous situations. Bursting into laughter, Lisa and Louise confess that they had fun and bid goodbye to Lotton, saying that they want to play with him again sometime.

At that point, Shenhua and Sawyer come across the scene and wonder if Lotton was responsible for the massacre. He answers that two guardian angels protected him, confusing them. As they depart, Louise informs Lisa that they may have forgotten something. Later, the two girls go to a cleaning site, where the irritated Choptop asks them if they failed again. Shouting to affirm, they promise to take care of the errand. Still enamored from before, Louise explains that they forgot to run the errand since they were busy playing. The girls begin to imitate Lotton by talking about the "salvation of souls that reach the end of their lives." Baffled, Choptop mutters an insult and wonders where they learned to talk like that.
